The Role

We are looking for a Senior Solidity Engineer to join our core team. Your work will include the design, implementation, and deployment of critical infrastructure powering the Monad blockchain.

You will contribute to development of major projects with a smart contract component, such as bridges, order books, staking, and NFT minting services.
You'll contribute to design, development, testing, and deployment of these new features. You'll make critical decisions on security and maintainability. Your work will power components with billions of dollars of TVL; as such, you'll need to maintain exceptional focus in defining invariants and defending against attacks.
You'll also contribute to design and development of new VM features that enable developers to build more powerful dapps. The smart contracts you develop will serve as initial use cases for new features that we are pioneering in the Monad VM, which supports and extends the EVM.

Requirements

Required prior experience:
3+ years of smart contract development including production deployments of original protocols
Extensive knowledge of Solidity and the EVM
Extensive knowledge of smart contract security and common pitfalls (e.g. you understand the cause of all historical reentrancy attacks and other vulnerabilities)
Extensive experience with proper deployment and security practices
Experience writing extensive unit and integration tests

What you'll be doing

You'll contribute to design and development of major projects with a smart contract component such as bridges, order books, staking, and NFT minting services. This will draw on your knowledge of existing tools as well as leveraging new primitives in Monad's VM.
You'll develop rigorous unit and integration tests, and thoroughly consider potential attack vectors
You'll contribute to architectural decisions that maximize security and minimize trust requirements
You'll collaborate with the rest of the team to develop features of the Monad VM
You'll hire other smart contract engineers
You'll mentor junior engineers and interns
You'll think strategically about initiatives or features that will aid in early adoption of the Monad blockchain

Salary and benefits

Minimum full-time salary of $200,000 - $250,000. (**This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary; a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.)

Job Description
Monad Labs is creating the foundation for a new world of powerful decentralized applications. We've developed the first parallel EVM executor, and have paired it with significant innovations on consensus, pipelining, and storage to build the Monad blockchain, an ultra-performant EVM-equivalent blockchain supporting 10,000 TPS while remaining highly decentralized.

Founded by Jump Trading alums, our team solves challenging problems in distributed systems engineering and low-latency optimization, authoring software innovations that enable a new, high-performance decentralized system that is backward-compatible with existing EVM apps and Ethereum infrastructure. We are backed by notable leaders in the crypto space, including Dragonfly, Cobie, and Hasu.

Our mission is to enable a new universe of decentralized apps—use cases and user flows that are currently impossible—by drastically reducing EVM computation costs. Ultimately, our work will unleash the power of decentralization to make the world more efficient and fair.

The Role

After strict focus on developing our core infra and technology, the Monad blockchain is quickly approaching its Testnet v0 release. Ahead of that launch, we are growing our team (currently almost all engineers) to include a Research Writer.

As Research Writer, you will become the voice of Monad Labs and an evangelist for the Monad blockchain. Your work will educate many users and developers, and will help Monad's community grow rapidly.

This role is on the critical path of Monad's growth.

Requirements
Prior experience/skills:

Excellent knowledge of major crypto protocols, especially L1s and L2s (e.g. consensus mechanisms, economic security design, interoperability). Some examples of topics you should know well: PoW in Bitcoin, PoS in Ethereum, tendermint, IBC, MEV, PBS, and others.
You've written about technical crypto topics in a clear and engaging manner
You're crypto-native: you're immersed in crypto culture, and aware of the prevailing personalities, memes, and major narratives and projects
You have experience writing engaging Twitter threads

You'll conduct research on technical topics related to Monad's mission of decentralization and scale. These topics will range from Monad-specific innovations and performance, to more general insights about the crypto space and current user or app behavior.
You'll convert that research into insightful articles and twitter threads that educate the community about Monad's technology, and what the future will look like with Monad in the mix.
You'll develop content for varying levels of technical background (everyday users, app developers, and researchers).
You'll write for various platforms, from long-form (medium and mirror.xyz) to twitter, reddit, and podcasts.
You'll work alongside other members of our team to build a coherent brand and voice for Monad.
You'll stay up-to-date on apps, topics, and narratives, and incorporate current events into your writing. Your knowledge of the state of crypto will help inform our team's strategy with respect to partnerships and new initiatives.

Now, we are looking to expand our team with a Sr. Product Manager/Product Lead, well-versed in blockchain technology and web3 and excellent in Product Exploration and Discovery.

As this position will form part of the most centric part of what Molecule will build over the months and years to come, we will be as intentional as possible in the hiring process, using the following crucial aspects to proceed with any applications received:

What we really want to see in you
We want to see a candidate that is excellent in Product Exploration and Discovery. You must be familiar with exploration and discovery processes, fallacies that can arise when consulting users for their feedback, and use different frameworks and technology to analyze the needs of users.
You are a well experienced Product Manager, preferably in companies with product-driven growth or start-ups, and with 6-8 years of experience.
Preferably, you have experience in/understand web3 to a large extent. If not, we have developers and general web3 knowledge in-house to fill any web3 knowledge gaps. Of critical importance is the ability to build and execute good exploration processes and have strong scrutiny of feature ideas that arise within that process.
You are an analytical thinker and are able to break down needs, problems, processes, and existing structures into their individual parts.
You excel in project management and are a clear and concise communicator & facilitator between different stakeholders.
You have experience with software design and development processes, as well as agile methodologies.
The Role
You should be excellent in Product Exploration and Discovery.
You will work together with designers and the tech team in creating, evaluating, and implementing product feature ideas. We’re looking for someone with an obsession with the problem and user.
You must think about the uncertainties of implementing solutions and be aware of the scarce resources of e.g. Tech to be implementing things with the biggest impact and largest certainty possible. This is why Product Exploration and Discovery is the most important aspect.
You will decide how the product evolves, what to implement, and even more important, what not to implement.
Additionally, you must support any project management in implementing the solutions.

What You’ll Do:

Skills You’ll Need:

Detailed understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
