We are looking to hire a VP of Sales & Operations to manage, coach, lead and drive sales leaders across multiple states. The VP of Sales will be based out of our Cleveland, OH HQ and will report directly to the CEO. Travel is expected. The ideal candidate has undeniable drive, motivation and loyalty — and can ignite those attributes in others. The VP of sales must be keenly aware of reps' and managers energy levels as well as their strengths and opportunities. The position ensures ongoing, sustainable success for franchise units across the OTF/Thrive Orange Nation.
· Manage, coach and lead a team of sales leaders across multiple states · Increase market share in each market to box out competition through new customer acquisition · Member retention with monthly attrition of less than 5% · Drive top line MoM revenue and increase EBITDA margins to 30%+ in each studio · Maintain sales costs within the target identified by the executive team · Responsible for overall MoM/YoY sales growth

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement
Manage the sales leaders, operations and resources to deliver profitable growth
Manage the use of budgets and payroll guidelines
Define optimal sales force structure
Hire and develop sales leadership
Become known as an employer of choice and a sales force that top leaders want to join
Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets and increase business profitability
Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction, retention and acquisition
Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required
Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function
Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions
Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team
Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs
Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
Travel for in-person meetings with group customers and partners and to develop key relationships
Travel for in-person studio visits
Manage and close group purchase plans (Corporate Sales)
Develop strategies, train and support all Presales efforts for new studios
Perform regular secret shops for studio feedback and ongoing training
Participate in annual conventions, seminars or business meetings, and attend franchise grand openings as directed.

EXPERIENCE

· Successful experience building a go-to-market strategy and corporate sales plan

· Successful experience building top line sales growth M0M and YoY.

· Successful experience selling a service-based product

· Successful experience monitoring and evaluating sales progress against stated goals, in addition to aligning and changing behavior with performance expectations

· Successful experience managing a team of 30+ sales leaders

· Experience managing key customer relationships and closing strategic opportunities

· Successful experience utilizing a CRM to manage team sales tasks, pipeline, and closing data

· Successful experience hiring and onboarding sales leaders

· Successful experience building and managing a territory

· Experience providing status reports with market and customer feedback to the corporate leadership team

· Demonstrated ability in all aspects of sales leadership and servant leadership

SKILLS

· Strong ability to coach sales reps & sales leaders to higher performance with 50%+ of their time spent in the field.

· Skilled at planning (strategic sales plan) and managing company’s revenue forecast.

· Skilled at building rapport and understanding business requirements of senior decision makers. Able to influence without authority but through passion and servant leadership

· Strong ability to analyze reporting and create action plans
