About Stably

Stably connects Decentralized Finance (DeFi) on blockchains with traditional finance. We focus on making it easy to convert real-world assets into digital representations by providing on/off-ramps, custody, and tokenization infrastructure. Our current focus is on stablecoins and the problems you will work on are:

Creating the best on/off-ramp experience for stablecoins
Combating fraud and customer onboarding friction
Lowering fiat funds-processing friction and risk
Increasing blockchain protocol support and security
Empowering Web3 businesses to use our products to help their end-users

About You

You have experience developing highly secure and resilient asynchronous backend software architecture. You are passionate about the future of financial technology, particularly blockchain, but are also pragmatic about how it needs to co-exist with the existing financial system, at least for the foreseeable future. You are familiar with how both financial systems work separately and understand the risks and challenges of bridging them.

Responsibilities

Architect and develop distributed systems in Rust
Integrate traditional financial systems (ACH/card/fedwire/RTP/etc…) into our infrastructure
Mitigate user and traditional finance transactional risk (KYC/chargebacks/account takeover/etc…)
Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
Own a product vertical and make informed product and technical decisions

Requirements

7+ years of professional software development experience
Significant experience working on fintech products built on top of financial institutions
Interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
Significant production software experience with Rust and golang preferred
A champion for coding standards and code quality
A desire to have great test coverage to enable continuous delivery
Ability to exercise technical and product judgment in solving roadblocks
Collaborative working style, you are energized by and enjoy discussing and planning with others, both synchronously and asynchronously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to collaborate, share ideas and present concepts effectively
Self-starter, you enjoy high ownership fast pace environments and constantly seek to improve your work with low supervision
