What if bitcoin didn't exist?

 If bitcoin wasn't created by satoshi, than someone else could create other asset which will definitely lead the crypto space as people are seeking for alternatives of current solution. Though we can't be sure that that asset will grow like bitcoin does, but someone would sure to create anything like this or close to bitcoin.
