As the Application Development Lead, you are pivotal to our ability to deliver high-quality, on-time releases. You will work across the organization to understand business needs and ensure work is progressing as planned. You will orchestrate our deployment of new releases.
Responsibilities
Apply a thorough understanding of deploying and managing application lifecycles.
Collaborate with the product and operations teams to estimate and assign engineering resources.
Work with the development team to improve the system architecture as part of our ongoing development.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to our Azure environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in test and product environments.
Participate in internal meetings to review solutions, all dependencies, actions, and timelines. Take a leadership role in the daily stand-up meeting.
Collaborate with other developers, testers, and system engineers to ensure release quality.
Assist other engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other team members.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Proven experience with CI/CD tools, such as GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.
Detailed, hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
Intermediate SQL query skills.
Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
Experience working under agile principles.
10+ years of experience
5 years overall professional software development experience.
Experience with good engineering practices (test-driven development, continuous integration: Jenkins)
