What’s the best venue in Ireland in your opinion?

For a music event Vicar Street, for theatre the Project Arts Centre and if I was going to a lecture style event then it would be the Royal Irish Academy.

What to you make’s a great event?

I’m a big fan of live performance and I feel events are affected by the participation of the audience. It’s all about how well they feel engaged with the actual event and with the performance.

If money was no object who would you love to have as a keynote speaker?

I’m lucky that I got my ideal keynote speaker!

One of the people that I have actually worked with in the First Up series is Moya Doherty.

She is someone that I wanted to involve in my course and when I sat down and thought who is a really successful, really interesting creative entrepreneur in Ireland it took me 5 seconds to decide that it was Moya Doherty and I got in touch with her. I met her and she is one of the speakers in the series and has helped me to set up the course. I’m a huge admirer of hers.
