You love gaming, and your head is always full of ideas for games you’d develop yourself if you had the time and know-how. But, let’s face it, creating your own games can be quite the learning curve. And maybe you just don’t have the spare hours. That’s no longer a problem thanks to the Unnamed Arcade game-creation program. It’s a multiplayer game that uses simple, fuss-free tools to create your own games, letting you play in the process.

The Unnamed Arcade’s inventors invite you to imagine a combination of Minecraft and Fortnite, which is a game that lets you create your own world. In this game, you harvest trees and rocks for materials, trying to survive the night from monsters that can destroy everything you’ve created. After each night survived, players earn a point they can use to improve their stamina and health. They can then take that into the epic battle royale mode, where 100 players battle threats until only one player is standing. Are you up for the fun? Then let’s learn more about this new game-creation program.

Discover the four playing modes

The Unnamed Arcade has four modes for players, and players can use the same account and character to enter any of the modes. But, of course, you won’t get the same reward for each mode. This means that being level 50 in casual mode doesn’t carry the same weight as level 50 in competitor mode. The levels are casual, challenge, creative, and competitor.

The casual mode offers a relaxed way to play

If you don’t have a lot of time or are a beginner, the casual mode’s purpose is simple. Each night you survive in your world, you move to a new level and earn points to strengthen your character for the battle royale. It has a useful offline mode that lets you play and save your score while you’re away from the internet for a short amount of time. It’s a great mode if you work or are a student and don’t have the time for hours of play.

The challenge mode offers a little more excitement

For players who want more excitement, there’s the challenge mode. It has the same layout and challenge as the casual mode. However, after each night of survival, the enemies are stronger, faster, and harder to defeat. The upside is that the longer you survive, the more points you receive. For the battle royale, you can also boost yourself further than in casual mode. It’s a more difficult mode in this game-creation program.

The creative mode is for players who like to invent

In the creative mode, players don’t need to survive their world—they create it. In this mode, you invent an open world with a story and adventure. There are no points to earn for your character. However, you can get points by letting others take on your world. The same goes if you play the worlds of other players. And you get points depending on the game’s difficulty. It’s a game mode you’ll want to play using some cool gaming gear.

The competitive mode of this multiplayer game is for the best

If you’re the player who always wants to come out ahead, the competitive mode is for you. Unlike the other modes, the competitive mode measures players by their rank. In this mode, you don’t just fight against monsters; you also have to survive raids from other players, hold them off, and protect yourself to earn points.

Create your own world

It’s easy to create your own world with this game-creation program’s painter tool. Simply upload a grid with different colors. Each color on the grid refers to an item, so brown could be trees, gray could represent stone, and gold might be a rare earth material. You edit the grid in a program that’s similar to Microsoft Paint. Once you’re happy with what you’ve invented, your player’s home will appear along with a bed, table, and other furniture.

Survive your world in this online game creator

And, of course, you must survive your world once you create it. Players can make it easier by crafting buildings, tools, and weapons. Each item requires specific materials, and you can gather them from your natural resources like trees, stones, and metal. Thankfully, animals and plants grow and reproduce during the day, giving you even more ways to restore your health and build your stamina. For example, you can hunt animals for meat and create potions from plants. It’s a true outdoor adventure.

Develop a unique character

One of the most important things you’ll do in this game-creation program is create your own character. According to its makers, the character creator program is pretty simple—but it has a twist. Players with CAD applications can export their character model and modify it in their CAD software for further customization. Otherwise, you can choose from the included parts and features to create your hero.

Choose from 12 different battle locations in this online gaming platform

There are 12 locations to choose from in battle royale mode. Each offers something different for your character and your survival. The royal modes include the arena, the vault, the village, the tomb, the wilderness, the track, the barracks, the battlefield, the story, the island, the warzone, and the end. Depending on what player mode you use, you unlock either an item or a boost.

Enjoy eight royale modes in this multiplayer game

That’s right, there are eight different royale modes in the Unnamed Arcade. They include Adrenaline Royal, Termination Royal, Scrapper Royal, Weather Royal, Evolution Royal, Invasion Royal, Infected Royal, and Powered Royal. Each corresponds to a specific game mode.

If you’ve always wanted to dabble in game creation, the Unnamed Arcade game-creation program is a great way to start. It lets you easily create your own world, character, and challenges. You can then compete against other players, using the strength and points you earn. It’s sure to provide hours—or an evening—of fun, depending on how much time you have. It’s a convenient way to create.

The Unnamed Arcade game-creation program starts at €10 for one app and is currently available for preorder on Kickstarter. Have you always wanted to create your own games? Are you a game creator? Tell us about your experience in the comment section.
