Did you hear the big announcement from Richard Branson on Tuesday? Pitch to Rich 2015 has now launched, is raring to go and coming to a town near you.

In a series of six action-packed events around the UK, people will get the chance to listen to a panel of hard-hitting entrepreneurs and, for a brave three who will be entering Pitch to Rich 2015, pitch their business live to the panel.

For the Pitch to Rich events across the UK, Virgin Media Business has partnered with Eventbrite, which is used by millions of small businesses to help them grow and reach new audiences through events.

Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and we’re proud to partner with a campaign that offers small businesses across the UK the chance to shine.

To win Pitch to Rich 2015, entrepreneurs will need to perfect their pitch, drum up local support and create a buzz around their campaign. These events, in partnership with Eventbrite, are the perfect opportunity to do this and turbo-charge their odds of making it to the live Pitch to Rich final in June.

The events will take place on 21st – 30th April and feature different, but equally fantastic, entrepreneurs and local influencers including our very own Renaud Visage – Co-Founder of Eventbrite – at the Manchester event.

The schedule for the Pitch to Rich 2015 regional tour is:

  • Manchester – 21 April – Richard Reed, Innocent & Renaud Visage, Eventbrite
  • Birmingham – 22 April – Sharmadean Reid, Wah Nails
  • Brighton – 23 April – Jonas Druppel, Dubsmash & Rob Love, Crowdfunder and River Cottage
  • Cardiff – 28 April – Paul Lindley, Ella’s Kitchen Founder
  • Edinburgh – 29 April – Jo Malone, Founder of Jo Malone and Jo Loves
  • Belfast – 30 April – Stephen Greene, Founder Eds Easy Diner.

The events will be a fantastic evening from 5.30 – 8pm. Even if you are just attending the event and not planning to enter Pitch to Rich, this is a chance to hear from successful entrepreneurs and listen to some young local entrepreneurs embarking on the start of entrepreneurial journey.
