BitPay Adds Polygon Support – Users To Access NFTs On Panini

BitPay, one of the largest digital assets payment services providers, has announced support for Polygon and MATIC. For the first time, BitPay merchants will begin accepting Polygon payments from the most popular Polygon wallets.

In an October 26 press release, the digital asset payment services provider confirmed its successful integration with Polygon to accept payments from the most popular Polygon wallets. Panini America, an NFT collection marketplace, will be among the first merchants to support its customers with the new payment option.

Panini is the International brand leader in the world of sticker and trading card collectibles. The marketplace feature more than 1,000 collections launched each year. Panini is one of the leading publishers of children’s magazines and books, comics, manga, and graphic novels.

Under the BitPay and Polygon integration, users will have access to thousands of NBA, NHL, NFL, and more NFTs through Panini’s NFT marketplace. While commenting about the new integration, Jason Howarth, the VP of marketing at Panini America, remarked:

BitPay To Boost FIFA World Cup NFTs Sales

Panini America is among several digital asset marketplaces that have already announced plans to offer FIFA World Cub-themed NFTs. The world cup football tournament will feature 64 matches, streamed live from Qatar starting from November 20.

Panini America believes the new Polygon payment services support on BitPay will significantly boost the sales of tokenized cards and stickers during the highly anticipated FIFA World Cup 2022 season.
